An effective training program can reduce the number of injuries and deaths, property damage, legal liability, illnesses, workers' compensation claims, and missed time from work. A safety training program can also help a trainer keep the required OSHA-mandated safety training courses organized and up-to-date.

Yes give us real journalists like Earl Bousquet and Claudius Francis. They tells the truth about Kenny Anthony and they don't take bribes from any embassy.

Is Wesley Gibbings president of that Association for life? Anyway, I am a resident of Saint Lucia and I am extremely pained by what is passing for media in St. Lucia. I believe that given our situation, when these observances come around there should be an introspection of what is happening within the media, coverage of news as well as speculation that many media personnel, such as Timothy Poleon, Rick Wayne, Andre Paul, Sam Flood and Russel Lake who claim not to have any political bias are really in the employ of politicians. It is sad, that these guys seek to colour news most importantly with their agenda of explaining away all the sins of the government. You can plant your own independent observer and have a content analysis done of their work and you will make your own conclusions. It is outrageous and unacceptable. It will be very hard to find a big section of the St. Lucian public promoting any further freedoms for these media hacks, who ought really to be at the forefront of political parties and campaigns. They are doing a dis-service to news reporting and journalism. Timothy and Rick are the worse offenders since they fall directly under news. But I believe that the others mentioned earlier should indicate to the listening public that the views they express are views they are paid to express.

We have lost all hope for an independent voice in St. Lucian media. One man who is above reproach is Claudius Francis who has openely indicated his bias for the Opposition SLP, but in true professional form, he is well researched, he sets the record straight even when his preferred political party will be impacted negatively. He is not considered a journalist, but he together with a few others are trying their best.

I must say the younger reporters are confronted with lack of training and an absence of curiousity and generally not well read, but based on their output, I really can accuse them of payola, or the version of payola that is concerned with news reporting.
