ST. LUCIA SEES 6% DROP IN VISITOR ARRIVALS IN DECEMBER.
Preliminary figures released by the St Lucia Tourist Board show that the number of tourist stopover arrivals, that is persons staying 24 hours or more, fell 5.8% in December 2008, to 26,173 visitors, compared with 27,798 visitors who arrived in December 2007. The number of cruise visitors increased however, by 18%, compared with December 2007. [...]
